Scientists have recently discovered an incredibly versatile rare-earth metal, and it’s currently blowing investors’ minds.
I’m talking about a material called graphene.
“The Global Market for Graphene 2020–2030” report states that “graphene is attracting increasing attention from investors, researchers, and industrial players due to exceptional mechanical, electronic, and thermal properties.”
In short, you may have heard of something called graphite, which is a multilayered sheet of carbon atoms — a brittle material used in pencils.
But graphene is only a single-layer sheet of carbon atoms that is 200 times stronger than steel and 100 times stronger than diamonds.
It’s also 1,000 times more conductive than copper, which means it uses less friction and produces less destructive heat than traditional wires.
So if graphene is so great… what else can it do?
Well, it’s such a great barrier that a coating of graphene on food or medicine could increase its life span.
It has a netlike structure, which can be used to desalinate and filter water.
Graphene is also transparent and flexible, which can be used for future device screens.
Lastly, it can also block deadly strains of bacteria, which could help us fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Clearly, the uses graphene can provide for us are endless, which is quickly leading to a huge demand in the rare-earth market.
In fact, there are over 100 rare-earth companies directly involved with graphene right now.
And we reveal the major players in the free report I just finished putting together.
